Riverside Industries, founded in 1968, provides individualized services combining life skills development, rehabilitation, and employment options for more than a thousand adults and children with developmental disabilities throughout Western Massachusetts. Riverside has been a long- standing advocate for client-driven supports empowering people with perceived limitations and typical ambitions in their quest for satisfying jobs, life direction, and meaningful community membership.

One Cottage Street, a renovated old mill building located in the center of Easthampton, is not only the home base for Riverside services, but also the center of a thriving arts community. Ninety-three percent of each budget dollar directly supports Riverside services. Riverside Industries contributes significantly to the economic health of this region. Each dollar invested in Riverside produces two to three additional dollars of economic activity in the Pioneer Valley.
