Employment Services

The purpose of Riverside's Employment Services is to assist people in discovering the type of work they like and to teach the job skills necessary for satisfying employment experiences and careers. We provide assistance in securing employment and supporting people to be successful on the job. Services are individualized, meeting the goals of the employee and the requirements of the employer. Riverside works in partnership with the Department of Mental Retardation, area schools, local Chambers of Commerce, Career Centers, and many other community resources to provide the most comprehensive, varied, and flexible supports available. Life Skills Development

Riverside's Life Skills Development Center provides people with opportunities for personal growth, independence, and quality living. Comprehensive goals and objectives combine traditional clinical and nursing services with alternative therapies and community activities. With these supports people are encouraged to reflect upon their life dreams so that they may be realized. Life Skills participants determine their individual plans with the help of those people closest to them, including their family members, friends, and advocates. More

Riverside Arts

We have created an art program providing individuals with the necessary tools to explore their own creative potential. This program provides people with disabilities an in-depth, perhaps first time opportunity to make art and exhibit their work in the community. More
