DAY HABILITATION

Day Habilitation is committed to:

  • Supporting people in having as much control as possible
over the things in their lives they value

  • Encouraging people to reflect upon their dreams
so that we may support their realization

  • Assisting individuals in determining their services
with the help of those closest to them

The Day Habilitation Center at Riverside Industries, Inc. serves adults with developmental disabilities.

Our services enrich the participants' ability to make productive contributions to their communities, as well as enhance those skills which enable them to live and work as independently as possible.

It is our belief that growth occurs when trusting, caring, and mutual relationships develop between people.

Community opportunities are available to each individual at least two times per work, including volunteering. Employment services are available to participants when the Department of Mental Retardation funds them.

Challenging work opportunities are now being taken advantage of by at least half of the participants on a part-time basis.
